Acoslay 40 is a specially coated and patterned fiberglass-reinforced sheet underlay to enable the safe laying floor coverings, by helping to overcome the problems sometimes encountered in laying floor coverings over new or old subfloors. It can be laid over a variety of surfaces, such as old subfloors, vinyl floorings, sheet metal, subfloors contaminated with oil or paint, or damp subfloors. It can be used over asphalt subfloors as well.

• It provides a continuous base which is stabilized and resistant to damp
• It cuts down laying time as it can reduce normal subfloor drying times
• It allows for a new temporary floor to be laid over an existing floor (without adhesive damage on uplifting)
